Company Description
In the mid-1990’s Physical Therapy as a profession was in the midst of constant change. Physical Therapists Karen Braden and Chuck Martin worked at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital for a national Physical Therapy company. Over a period of four years the company was bought and sold three times. Every time the company was sold it became more heavily leveraged. As a result, productive standards were raised to the point that Karen and Chuck believed patients weren’t receiving the quality of care they deserved.
In order to be true to their beliefs, and treat patients as they felt they deserved to be treated, they started Cascade Summit Physical Therapy in 1998. We are still the only rehabilitation clinic in Yakima that doesn’t utilize aides in the provision of Rehabilitation Services. All of our clinicians have received formal education and graduated from a school approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). You will never be pushed off to be treated by aides. We believe you deserve better treatment. Our staff of 16 physical therapists and assistants see over 65 patients on average each day at our two locations in Yakima and Toppenish.
